How Word Budgets Work
- Creator — 30,000 words
- Author — 70,000 words
- Publisher — 200,000 words
Think of your word budget as a creative capacity. The more words your plan includes, the more content you can produce each billing period.
What Counts Toward Your Budget
Your own edits, additions, and manual writing in the editor do not count against your budget. If you type directly into a chapter, rearrange paragraphs, or make manual corrections, those changes are free. The budget only measures what the AI produces on your behalf.
Monthly Reset
Your word budget resets at the start of each billing cycle. If your plan renews on the 15th of the month, your usage counter resets to zero on that date and you get your full word allocation again.
Unused words do not roll over to the next period. Each billing cycle starts fresh with the full budget for your plan.
Monitoring Your Usage
- Words used out of your total monthly budget
- Remaining words available for the current period
- Renewal date when your budget resets
Keeping an eye on your usage helps you plan your production schedule. If you find yourself regularly approaching your limit, consider upgrading to the next tier for more capacity.
